About the role
Prospa Orchard Management Services is seeking a Precision Horticulture Technician to join its Te Puke team. This graduate‑level, contract position offers the chance to apply and expand your horticultural expertise while contributing to the performance of premium orchards.
Key responsibilities
- Test, measure and validate orchard performance across multiple parameters.
- Collect and record data on tree health, fruit development and environmental conditions.
- Support the implementation of precision horticulture techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with senior agronomists and the orchard management team to optimise production.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a background in horticulture, agriculture or related science.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment on‑site in Te Puke.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new precision farming tools.
