About the role
The Pre‑Op & Recovery RN provides nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center. The role does not require weekend, night, holiday or on‑call work, offering a stable schedule for qualified nurses.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of nursing care throughout pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative phases.
- Assume full responsibility for patient care in line with physician orders and centre policies.
- Monitor patients in the recovery area, ensuring safe transition from surgery to discharge.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state RN license.
- Minimum one year of experience caring for surgical patients in pre‑, intra‑ and post‑operative settings.
Required skills
- Current CPR certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
