Practice Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join the close‑knit team at MOA Medical Centre. This permanent part‑time position (32 hours per week) focuses on delivering whānau‑centred primary care in a supportive clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical nursing services to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Support health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
• Assist with practice administration and patient flow as needed.

Required profile

• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) in nursing.
• Experience in primary health care is desirable.
• Positive, patient‑first attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OMS (practice management software).
• Competent use of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with Indici is desirable.
