Policy Consultant – Remote

About the role

This contract position supports clients by drafting, reviewing, and improving policy, legal, and regulatory documents. Working remotely, you will apply your expertise to ensure compliance and clarity across a range of sectors, including healthcare, finance, academia, and government.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, and review policy documents, legal contracts, proposals, and research papers.
• Provide strategic consultation and actionable recommendations on regulatory, legal, healthcare, academic, or finance‑related matters.
• Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure compliance, clarity, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Support clients with precise document formatting, tracked changes, form filling, and data extraction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to synthesize complex data into succinct policies and procedures.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving regulations and guidelines relevant to your area of expertise.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal formats.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in government policy operations or related regulatory work.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word (tracked changes, formatting, document review).
• Advanced proficiency with PDF editing and data‑extraction tools.
