About the role
Join PGG Wrightson Seeds as a Plant Operator at our Ashburton facility. You will play a key part in processing and packing seed products for the arable industry on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Operate machinery for seed processing and packing.
- Dress and prepare seed for customer specifications.
- Collect and file product samples.
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
- Operate a forklift for material handling.
Required profile
- Desirable knowledge of machinery or farming operations.
- Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Physically fit, reliable and able to work safely in an industrial environment.
