Physiotherapist – Sports & Musculoskeletal Practice

About the role

Great Lake Physio in Taupo is seeking a motivated Physiotherapist to join a busy musculoskeletal and sports practice. You will assess acute injuries, develop treatment plans, and work with local sports clubs, including provincial rugby union teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute injuries and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Design and implement in‑clinic and community rehabilitation programmes.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals and create detailed patient reports.
• Manage appointments using diary management software.
• Provide physiotherapy services for ACC contracts, concussion, pain management, and sports tournaments.

Required profile

• Current NZ Physiotherapy registration and APC.
• Full NZ driver’s licence for community visits.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for sports physiotherapy.
• Two or more years of experience is advantageous, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Proficiency with diary management software.
• Experience using AI medical scribe tools such as Heidi notes.
