Physiotherapist – Community Rehabilitation (Northland)

About the role

Join a values‑led team delivering community‑based rehabilitation across Northland. As a Physiotherapist you will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, providing tailored care to clients in homes, workplaces and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services to individuals within the community, supporting their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to design and implement gym‑based, home‑based and functional rehabilitation programmes.
• Assess movement patterns, strength and mobility, and progress clients safely.
• Navigate community service pathways and ensure seamless client care.

Required profile

• Relevant physiotherapy qualification, professional registration and a valid practising certificate.
• At least 2 years of experience in vocational or community rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical reasoning, adaptability and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, whānau and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Musculoskeletal, neurological or vestibular rehabilitation expertise.
• Experience delivering gym‑based, home‑based and functional rehabilitation programmes.
• Proficiency in assessing and progressing movement patterns, strength and mobility.
