Philosophy Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position leads quality assurance for philosophy‑focused AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated philosophical content meets rigorous academic standards and project guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across philosophy data projects.
• Review AI‑generated philosophy content and trainer/QA work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback to contributors and ensure adherence to standards.
• Assess conceptual accuracy, argument structure, logical validity, contextual relevance, clarity, nuance, and formatting.
• Identify recurring quality issues, communicate updates to trainers and QAs, and support onboarding.
• Maintain documentation and reactivate contributors who are not consistently active.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Logic, Political Theory, Humanities, Religious Studies, Classics, Cognitive Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of English for written feedback and communication.
• 3+ years experience in philosophy research, teaching, writing, editing, academic or ethics review, or related humanities workflows.
• Deep understanding of philosophical methods, logic, argument analysis, ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, political philosophy, and history of philosophy.
• Ability to evaluate content against rubrics and spot issues such as straw‑man arguments, invalid inference, conceptual confusion, oversimplification, unsupported claims, false equivalence, or misrepresentation of philosophers’ views.
