Pharmacy Technician – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, FL. The role focuses on delivering accurate and timely medication services while providing excellent customer service to patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, compound, label, and deliver pharmaceuticals in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Support the pharmacy department’s mission by contributing to efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license (or enrollment in BayCare’s training program).
• Preferred: at least one year of institutional pharmacy experience and CPhT certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in pharmaceutical calculations.
• Compounding techniques.
• Labeling of medication orders.
