P&C Advisor

About the role

The People & Culture (P&C) Advisor will join Cultivate Recruitment on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, based in Mount Wellington, Auckland. Working in a hybrid model, the role supports commercial managers across policy development, project delivery, employee relations and cyclical HR activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR advice and guidance to commercial teams on policy, projects and employee relations matters.
• Partner with managers to identify and address cyclical HR needs and support implementation of HR initiatives.
• Manage an assigned commercial portfolio autonomously, ensuring compliance with HR standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the wider HR and recruitment team to deliver a warm, people‑focused service.

Required profile

• Experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture advisory capacity.
• Ability to work independently and manage a commercial portfolio with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to engage in informal team communication.
