About the role
This position supports the Director of Nursing and Administrator in delivering HR and payroll services across the facility. The role focuses on employee orientation, benefits administration, recruitment support, and payroll processing while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate new‑employee orientation covering care philosophy, resident rights, safety, infection control and facility policies.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interview scheduling and onboarding.
- Maintain and update employment records for hiring, transfers, promotions and terminations.
- Administer benefits programs such as health, dental, life, disability, pension, vacation and sick leave.
- Process payroll transactions, monitor garnishment orders and ensure accurate, timely payroll runs.
- Schedule and document in‑service trainings, safety drills and health examinations.
- Prepare HR reports, gather data for government reporting and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the Risk Manager on complex HR/work‑comp cases and assist with incident/accident recording.

- Ability to uphold strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Team‑oriented, results‑driven self‑starter with reliable attendance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow established policies, procedures and schedules.
