About the role
Join Oceania as a part‑time Registered Nurse at Elderslea Lodge, delivering full‑scope nursing care within a nurse‑led aged‑care service. You will provide comprehensive assessments, coordinate daily resident needs, and build strong relationships with residents, families, and allied health professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily care plans for residents while inspiring and supporting the care team.
- Conduct independent and collaborative nursing assessments and interventions.
- Make critical decisions regarding resident care, demonstrating professional autonomy.
- Develop and maintain connections with residents, families, and community health providers.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to care staff and team members.
Required profile
- Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
- Commitment to delivering excellent resident‑centred service.
- Previous experience using clinical documentation systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time‑management and ability to work rostered shifts, including weekends and nights.
Required skills
- InterRai clinical system (desirable but not essential).
