Part‑time Permanent Cleaner

About the role

Join the Customer Services team at Mitre 10 MEGA New Plymouth as a permanent part‑time Cleaner. You will work 24 hours per week, Wednesday to Saturday, ensuring the store environment is clean, safe and welcoming for customers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform commercial cleaning duties throughout the store, including floors, aisles, restrooms and fitting rooms.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use cleaning equipment responsibly.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any issues to the Zone or Team Leader.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation at all times.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Quick, adaptable mindset with a can‑do attitude.
• Energetic, positive and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong attention to detail and physical fitness with no lifting restrictions.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a similar role.
