Part‑time Contract WordPress Full‑Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Contract Full‑Stack WordPress Developer to support the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of our gaming company’s WordPress ecosystem. The role is hands‑on, covering both front‑end and back‑end tasks, and will help keep live sites performant and aligned with business, marketing and product initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide BAU support, general upkeep and maintenance of WordPress platforms.
• Develop front‑end and back‑end improvements, build new pages and execute UI updates.
• Fix bugs, update plugins, optimise site performance and ensure cross‑device responsiveness.
• Support and extend CMS functionality through API and third‑party tool integrations.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and engineering teams to deliver reliable development support.
• Balance structured project delivery with ongoing support tasks and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Strong commercial WordPress development experience with a proven track record of maintaining live production sites.
• Pragmatic, delivery‑focused approach and ability to work independently on support tasks.
• Comfortable improving existing systems over time and managing part‑time workload.
