About the role
We are creating a new Parts Manager position at our Cambridge branch following internal restructuring. The role leads a busy parts department, ensuring efficient parts operations and high levels of customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all parts inventory activities, including ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Manage stock levels to minimise shortages and excess while maintaining accuracy.
- Lead and develop a team of parts staff, fostering a collaborative and customer‑focused environment.
- Coordinate with sales, service, and procurement teams to align parts availability with business needs.
- Monitor commercial performance, track key metrics, and implement improvements to boost profitability.
Required profile
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing a team.
- Commercial awareness and a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience in agricultural, heavy machinery, automotive, construction, or related sectors is advantageous.
- Organised, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
