Para Operations Officer – Senior Training Camps (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Football Association’s Para Team is seeking a Para Operations Officer on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to support the England Para Football Programme. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and reviewing senior training camps, ensuring smooth logistics and operational excellence throughout the season.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver operational plans and logistics for all senior Para training camps.
• Manage programme selection, player grant allocation and Individual Development Plan support.
• Process player expense claims in partnership with Payroll & HR.
• Liaise with St. George’s Park and alternative facilities to guarantee accessibility.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team processes and report on camp activities.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high‑quality programme delivery.
• Oversee kit, equipment and resource requests for each camp.
• Provide clear communications to players, coaches and staff.
• Support media and commercial activity tracking for players.
• Attend domestic camps as Team Manager on a rota basis and travel internationally when required.
• Act as designated safeguarding officer when needed.
• Comply with health, safety and FA policies, including DBS checks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge and understanding of elite sport and experience in an elite sports environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, events and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong planning, project and budget management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible working hours with willingness to travel.
