Outdoor Cleaner Operator

About the role

Green by Nature is seeking a full‑time Outdoor Cleaner Operator to join its Hastings depot. The role involves scheduled cleaning and maintenance of public facilities such as restrooms, bus stops and barbecue areas, as well as supporting the wider team with rubbish collection and park‑asset cleaning. Shifts run early mornings from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public restrooms, bus stops and barbecue areas according to schedule.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish from parks and other public spaces.
• Perform general cleaning duties on park assets and facilities.
• Drive a manual vehicle to transport equipment and supplies as required.

Required profile

• Experience in a maintenance or cleaning role is useful but not mandatory.
• Current full driver’s licence and ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Self‑motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the community.
