Operations Manager (Part‑time Contractor)

About the role

Archery New Zealand is seeking a capable Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities on a part‑time independent contractor basis. Reporting to the Board via the Chairperson, you will ensure the organisation runs efficiently, transparently and sustainably while supporting volunteers, committees and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational planning and ensure timely implementation of Board decisions.
• Maintain governance systems, records and policy frameworks.
• Coordinate membership systems, communications and national reporting.
• Support budgeting, grant applications and funding accountability.
• Build and maintain relationships with Sport NZ, HPSNZ, World Archery, sponsors and other partners.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, privacy and sport legislation.
• Provide accurate, timely reports to the Board.
