About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Operations Manager to drive growth and oversee the day‑to‑day activities of Force1 Traffic Ltd. Based in Christchurch Central, the role will focus on ensuring smooth operational processes across our manufacturing and transport functions, managing supply chain activities, and aligning operational delivery with customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operational activities to meet performance targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to support business growth.
• Monitor operational metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage resources, including staff scheduling and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Oversee supply chain and inventory management.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to align operational delivery.
• Prepare operational reports for senior management.
• Implement cost‑control measures and efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in operations within manufacturing, transport or logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with budgeting and financial oversight.
• Track record of implementing process improvements.
