Online Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an Online Assistant to join Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand’s fulfilment team. In this role you will pick and pack online grocery orders, ensuring accuracy, speed and safety for our customers across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack online orders according to Woolworths standards, maintaining high accuracy.
• Communicate with other departments about out‑of‑stock items, substitutions and any customer enquiries.
• Follow health and safety procedures to keep yourself and teammates safe.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in the warehouse.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to make customer‑first decisions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Willingness to be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Positive attitude, friendly smile and welcoming demeanor.

Required skills

• Basic numeracy and ability to read product labels.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners) is a plus.
