About the role
The Office Administrator will join the national office team in Wellington, supporting the day‑to‑day operations of Te Rōpū Wāhine Māori Toko i te Ora. This role ensures a smooth, welcoming environment for members, staff and visitors while contributing to the organisation’s kaupapa‑driven mission.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and logistics for staff and visitors.
- Maintain office systems, filing, and communications, ensuring information is accurate and accessible.
- Support internal and external communications, including newsletters and social media updates.
- Manage office supplies, equipment and the overall tidy appearance of the workspace.
- Assist with event planning and community initiatives as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in administration or office support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Strong organisational skills and a calm, caring approach to service.
- Commitment to the values of manaakitanga and the kaupapa of the organisation.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
