About the role
We are looking for a motivated Office Administrator to support the Waitane site team on a part‑time basis. The role is fast‑paced and varied, acting as the first point of contact for visitors while providing essential administrative, payroll and recruitment support to site leadership and operational teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide professional front‑desk reception, greet visitors and manage enquiries.
- Coordinate site access and ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
- Deliver administrative and clerical support to managers and operational teams.
- Assist payroll processes, including timesheet entry and employee data maintenance.
- Support recruitment activities, onboarding and employment documentation.
- Maintain records, databases and internal systems with accurate filing and document management.
- Handle incoming calls, emails and inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with office management tasks such as supply ordering and inventory control.
- Prepare and process reports, documents and coordinate meetings, events and travel arrangements.
Required profile
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across the business.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and thrives in a team‑focused environment.
