Nurse Helper – Full‑Time Day Shift

About the role
BayCare Health System is seeking a Nurse Helper to join its Emergency Service team in Dunedin, Florida. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will support patient care while maintaining a safe, fluid‑free environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in delivering patient care according to the Nurse Helper I role.
- Perform support tasks without exposure to body fluids or devices that contain them.
- Follow BayCare policies and procedures while working on the unit.
Required profile
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Successful completion of Standard WELLE® training.
- Completion of the Nurse Helper training class before unit orientation.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED (preferred).
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Standard WELLE® training.
