NPD Lead

About the role

We are seeking an NPD Lead to join a fast‑growing consumer wellness business in New Zealand. Reporting to the leadership team, you will shape the future product portfolio by turning market insights into successful new products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities and develop product concepts aligned with commercial and brand objectives.
• Manage the end‑to‑end new product development process, from ideation through to launch.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Oversee packaging development, supply‑chain considerations and multi‑project timelines.
• Monitor product performance post‑launch and iterate as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product development, commercialisation or product management within FMCG, natural health, wellness, beauty, nutrition or food sectors.
• Strong understanding of NPD processes, packaging development and supply‑chain dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage new product launches from concept to market.
• Commercially minded with a solutions‑focused approach to innovation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth‑focused environment where priorities evolve quickly.
• Experience with international markets is advantageous.
