Night Shift Warehouse Despatcher

About the role

We are looking for a Night Shift Warehouse Despatcher to join our Wiri facility. The role ensures smooth despatch operations during the PM shift, aligning systems, procedures and people management with the dynamic demands of the warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SAP or the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for despatch activities.
• Support the Shift Manager in coordinating warehousing and raw material tasks.
• Execute daily operational plans to maximise resource utilisation.
• Collaborate with other shift despatchers to improve service levels across shifts.
• Monitor and help achieve budgetary targets for the distribution centre.

Required profile

• Strong focus on health and safety, promoting Bluebird’s Target Zero.
• Excellent organisational, planning and time‑management abilities.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to coach team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
