Night Auditor / Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a permanent Night Auditor/Receptionist to join SO/ Auckland, a luxury lifestyle hotel in the heart of the CBD. The role works on a 7‑day rotating roster covering both night and day shifts and is key to delivering a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Check‑in and check‑out guests, ensuring accurate posting of all charges.
• Maintain the appearance of the front desk, lobby and forecourt at all times.
• Handle guest luggage, car parking and door assistance during night hours.
• Process reservations, late arrivals and early departures following established procedures.
• Run Opera Cloud PMS reports, compile Night Audit day‑pack, and ensure PCI‑compliant documentation.
• Perform computer system backups and support night‑time services such as room service, OTS and porter duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full driver’s licence and ability to park guest vehicles between 11 pm and 7 am.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of the local Auckland area is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera Cloud property management system.
