About the role

Inspired Education is seeking a full‑time, fixed‑term New Entrants Teacher for ACG Strathallan in Karaka, Auckland. The role supports Year 0 students as they begin their school journey, delivering engaging, age‑appropriate learning experiences that build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and inquiry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for New Entrant students.
• Facilitate a smooth transition into primary school through nurturing teaching practices.
• Develop early literacy, numeracy and inquiry‑based learning programmes.
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom that promotes wellbeing and belonging.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with junior‑school staff on school initiatives.

• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.

Required skills

• Experience teaching Year 0/New Entrant students (highly desirable).
