New Business Representative

About the role

As a New Business Representative you will drive B2B sales for OfficeMax by prospecting, cold‑calling and converting businesses into customers. You will use the company’s extensive catalogue of workplace solutions to help clients improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively prospect, identify and win new B2B customers through cold calling.
• Deliver a high‑quality customer experience by understanding OfficeMax solutions and tailoring offers.
• Generate and develop leads, upsell and cross‑sell across thousands of SKUs.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently achieve sales and gross‑profit targets.
• Keep all customer interactions and pipeline data up to date in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Previous new‑business sales experience with a proven record of meeting targets.
• Comfortable with cold calling and strategic daily planning.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience working in matrix team structures.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, Pronto or Seismic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
