National Registry Officer – Justice Ministry (Auckland)

About the role

The Ministry of Justice is seeking National Registry Officers to join its Centralised Services team in Auckland. In this permanent, full‑time position you will be the first point of contact for members of the public, court users and legal professionals, helping them navigate the justice system.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, accurate customer service on a wide range of court‑related enquiries.
• Manage case information to ensure the judiciary and parties have the data they need for timely hearings.
• Process applications and correspondence in line with legislation and internal procedures.
• Exercise delegated powers as a Deputy Registrar of the District Court.
• Collaborate with the National Registry Services team to maintain high‑quality service delivery.
