National Registry Officer – Auckland

About the role

The National Registry Officer supports everyday New Zealanders navigating the justice system. Based initially at the Auckland District Court and moving to Ellerslie in 2027, the role combines customer service and case management to ensure courts operate efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline assistance on court‑related enquiries, including opening times, jury duty, and hearing details.
• Manage case information, ensuring judges and parties receive accurate data for timely hearings.
• Process applications and correspondence by interpreting legislation and exercising Deputy Registrar powers.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold the quality standards of Centralised Services.
