About the role

GS Mortgages Limited is looking for a motivated Mortgage Support Specialist to join its award‑winning team in Ellerslie, Auckland. This on‑site position offers a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified mortgage adviser while supporting daily application processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process and track mortgage applications from submission to settlement.
• Communicate with lenders to obtain approvals, clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Provide timely, friendly service to customers, keeping them informed throughout the mortgage journey.
• Utilise AI‑enabled tools to streamline data entry, document management and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records in the company’s mortgage management system.
• Assist senior advisers with preparation of loan proposals and documentation.

Required profile

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ambitious mindset with a desire to progress to a mortgage adviser role.
• Comfortable working with technology and AI‑driven platforms.
