About the role

Join a reputable independent workshop in Queenstown, New Zealand as a Mercedes‑Benz Van Technician. This permanent, workshop‑based position offers visa sponsorship for the right international candidate and focuses on servicing and repairing Mercedes‑Benz vans.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Mercedes‑Benz vans.
• Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance and complex mechanical repairs.
• Carry out engine overhauls, turbocharger, intake manifold and EGR system repairs.
• Execute major and minor transmission repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and workshop quality standards.
• Collaborate with the workshop team while maintaining a safe, efficient environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years recent hands‑on experience with Mercedes‑Benz vans.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Proven experience in engine rebuilds, turbo replacements, intake manifold and EGR system repairs, and transmission work.
• Genuine interest in relocating to and building a long‑term career in New Zealand.
