Master Scheduler

About the role

The Master Scheduler will support a large‑scale technology transformation programme for ANZ in Wellington. You will own the integrated programme schedule, ensuring visibility of milestones, dependencies, critical paths and risks across multiple workstreams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule in Microsoft Project covering all initiatives and external vendors.
• Define and manage the programme Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), key milestones, dependencies and critical path.
• Monitor progress, identify schedule variances and provide impact analysis with recommendations.
• Align Jira‑based agile delivery tracking with the overall programme schedule.
• Produce schedule reports, dashboards and insights for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Partner with Programme Managers, Initiative Leads and vendors to ensure accurate and timely schedule updates.
• Support scenario planning and risk identification to improve delivery outcomes.
• Establish scheduling standards, templates and best practices, and coach delivery teams on Microsoft Project usage.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme scheduling within large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, including master schedules and linked sub‑projects.
• Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, dependency management and schedule reporting.
• Experience consolidating agile delivery data (e.g., Jira) into integrated programme schedules.
