Marketing Consultant

About the role

Publik is seeking a Marketing Consultant to support senior marketing and PR consultants in delivering integrated campaigns for regional and national clients. The role starts on 17 August 2026 and can be full‑time, part‑time or a 12‑month fixed‑term covering maternity leave.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants and directors in planning and executing client marketing and communications campaigns.
• Conduct stakeholder research and contribute to brand development and innovative strategy formulation.
• Lead campaigns from ideation through implementation, measuring performance against objectives.
• Create or manage engaging, channel‑appropriate content that reflects the client’s voice.
• Project‑manage digital and whole‑of‑marketing initiatives, including collateral development.
• Update website content and images across client sites.
• Coordinate external contractors such as photographers, videographers and graphic designers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in brand and marketing, both digital and offline.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest trends, best practices and AI applications in marketing.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and time‑management abilities.

• Email newsletter tools: Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp.
• Survey tools: Survey Monkey.
• Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• Meta services (e.g., Facebook, Instagram advertising).

• Geolocation tools (GEO) and AI marketing tools.
