Marketing & Communications Advisor (Fixed‑term)

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Advisor to join our External Communications team in Wellington. This full‑time, fixed‑term position runs until December 2026 and focuses on supporting the Metlink Group within Greater Wellington.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering communications and marketing activities.
• Develop high‑quality content for multiple channels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Metlink Group.
• Contribute to the implementation of communications initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven track record in marketing, communications and engagement.
• Tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing or communications.
• Excellent relationship‑management skills with internal and external parties.
• Understanding of te ao Māori concepts and tikanga.
• Proactive problem‑solving and opportunity identification.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to listen to customers and improve communications.
