Mapping Data Collection Driver

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, safety‑focused Mapping Data Collection Driver to join our field operations team. You will drive assigned routes, capture real‑time mapping data, and ensure the safe operation of company vehicles and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive designated routes to collect up‑to‑date mapping information.
• Operate company‑provided vehicles safely, complying with traffic laws and internal safety policies.
• Use GPS navigation, mapping applications, and mobile data‑collection tools to complete tasks.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
• Report any maintenance needs, mechanical issues, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain regular communication with the Operations Lead regarding progress and incidents.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance coordination, equipment pickup/drop‑off, and vehicle cleaning.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in driving, field operations, logistics or delivery preferred.
• Comfortable driving for extended periods and adapting to changing routes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to perform light operational tasks such as vehicle cleaning.
