Manufacturing Engineer II – Vehicle Integration

About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineer II – Vehicle Integration you will enable Rocket Lab’s production teams to meet required production rates while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will own products released to production, remove blockers, and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and resolve manufacturing discrepancies and non‑conformances on flight hardware.
- Lead problem containment, root‑cause investigations and corrective‑action implementation.
- Collaborate with production, quality, supply‑chain and design engineering to drive quality initiatives.
- Own production‑ready products, remove blockers and support continuous improvement of processes and tooling.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to apply engineering judgment and risk assessment to flight‑hardware issues.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or space systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Required skills
- Root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action methodologies.
- Non‑conformance tracking and disposition.
- Process improvement and tooling development.
- Understanding of manufacturing best practices for high‑reliability products.
