Manufacturing Engineer 2

About the role

Join the Global Operations Group as a Manufacturing Engineer 2, supporting new product pilot production, virtual manufacturing, and high‑volume manufacturing factories. You will apply engineering principles to plan, develop, and maintain manufacturing methods, processes and operations, tackling technical, quality and production challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot product issues related to design, materials or processes.
• Design, develop and implement safe, cost‑effective equipment and assembly methods for all manufacturing phases.
• Create process documentation including operation method sheets, routing, sequencing and virtual build sequences.
• Conduct root‑cause investigations and recommend corrective actions for material variances, bottlenecks or fixture problems.
• Identify and drive improvements to reduce cost, enhance quality and shorten cycle time.
• Coordinate new product builds in pilot production, partnering with manufacturing and product engineers.
• Create and release engineering drawings and bills of materials using the Engineering Change Management process.
• Prepare hand‑off packages for transition to high‑volume manufacturing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a graduate‑eligible role.
• Strong troubleshooting ability in electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and DFMA principles.
