Manufacturing Administrator

About the role
We are looking for a highly organised Manufacturing Administrator to support our manufacturing operations at the Marley site in Manurewa. This role involves coordinating administrative and operational systems, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations across multiple departments.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update production, operational, and business data records.
- Coordinate training and competency administration, including schedules, records, and skills matrices.
- Prepare KPI reports, performance metrics, and other operational reporting.
- Support month‑end inventory stocktakes, audits, and inventory administration.
- Provide administrative support to manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and inventory functions.
- Assist continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining operational reporting.
- Manage document control processes to ensure records are accurate, current, and compliant.
- Coordinate procurement of office and operational supplies, raise purchase orders, monitor stock levels, and track deliveries.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers for day‑to‑day operational needs.
- Maintain an organised work environment and ensure administrative systems are effectively managed.
- Promote a safe workplace by identifying and addressing health and safety risks.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in administration, operations support, logistics, manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Strong computer literacy with proven experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP or operational systems such as BPCS, Nexus, or similar is highly regarded.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who builds positive relationships across departments.
