About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance to support optimal operation of equipment and systems at an industrial site just outside Hoedspruit, Limpopo.
Key responsibilities
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in pneumatic and conveyor systems.
- Fabricate, assemble and retrofit mechanical/electrical components to improve plant efficiency.
- Install, dismantle and precisely align industrial machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing and maintain accurate service logs and parts inventories.
- Troubleshoot and program PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and HMI interfaces.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures and local regulations.
Required profile
- Relevant trade certificate as a Millwright or Electrician.
- Minimum of 2 years hands‑on maintenance experience.
- Packhouse experience is an advantage.
