Maintenance Manager

About the role

Our client in the agricultural industry is seeking an energetic and reliable Maintenance Manager to lead the facility’s maintenance team. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operations through proactive planning, budgeting, and coordination of all maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance schedules and project plans.
• Plan, manage and control maintenance budgets.
• Implement a proactive preventative maintenance strategy.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain records of daily maintenance activities and order spare parts and equipment.
• Oversee repairs, installations and the digital maintenance system (CMMS).
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, OSHA regulations and health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years proven experience in maintenance management and planning.
• At least 1 year hands‑on experience in maintenance or a related trade.
• Relevant qualification in maintenance planning, management, or mechanical/electrical fields.
• Packhouse experience is an advantage.
