Logistics Co-ordinator PM Shift

About the role
Join Steel & Tube’s busy afternoon warehouse team as a Logistics Co‑ordinator on the PM shift (4:00 PM – ~12:30 AM). You will play a hands‑on part in loading trucks, moving vehicles and ensuring safe, efficient dispatch of goods.
Key responsibilities
- Load trucks using a forklift and overhead gantry crane.
- Move vehicles through loading bays and secure loads to NZTA standards.
- Prepare trucks for next‑day departures and verify loads as “IN FULL”.
- Perform vehicle inspections and support delivery operations.
- Maintain equipment, complete paperwork, checklists and logbooks.
- Provide high‑level customer service and uphold safety excellence.
Required profile
- Full Class 5 driver licence with a clean driving history.
- Physically fit with strong safety awareness.
- Positive, flexible team attitude and good communication skills.
- Willingness to drive when required.
Required skills
- Counterbalance forklift licence (2.5 t–5 t) – advantage.
- Gantry crane or Hiab certification – highly desirable.
