Line Coordinator

About the role

ABB is seeking a Line Coordinator to lead and manage multiple production lines at its Napier manufacturing site. You will ensure smooth assembly operations, meet quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage production lines to meet operational targets and quality standards using ABB tools such as the NCR database and Kaizen app.
• Perform production administration tasks including time‑and‑attendance entry, material picking, yielding, confirming, and booking finished goods.
• Sequence product builds, coordinate documentation, material delivery, and timelines to achieve on‑time delivery KPIs.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma improvements, address quality issues, and foster effective communication across teams.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean principles and manufacturing methodologies.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
• Legal right to work permanently in New Zealand.
