About the role

The Library and Council Services Assistant works within Auckland Council’s library network, delivering high‑quality service to the Upper Harbour communities. This community‑focused position blends customer service, digital assistance, and outreach to create welcoming and inclusive library experiences.

Key responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to library patrons on a daily basis.
Provide digital support, helping users navigate online resources and technology tools.
Organise and support community events and outreach activities across Upper Harbour.
Engage with a diverse range of customers, fostering inclusive and accessible library services.
