About the role
Russell McVeagh is seeking a Legal AI Engineer to help shape the future of legal services. Working within the AI Transformation team, you will collaborate with lawyers, business services and technology partners to design and roll out AI‑driven solutions that improve efficiency and client outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI‑enabled legal solutions, workflows and process improvements.
- Partner with lawyers to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and better client results.
- Design, test and optimise tools such as prompt libraries, document automation and knowledge management solutions.
- Support the firm’s AI transformation initiatives and ensure responsible AI adoption.
- Deliver training and guidance to help teams embrace new technologies.
- Monitor emerging legal technology and AI developments to spot new opportunities.
Required profile
- Qualified lawyer with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of legal practice, workflows and professional obligations.
- Passion for AI, legal technology and process improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercial judgement, problem‑solving ability and adaptability in a fast‑moving environment.
