Learning and Development Advisor

About the role

The Learning and Development Advisor will shape L&D strategy across WasteCo's multi‑site operations, driving a strong safety culture nationwide. You will design and deliver training programmes that enhance both safety and technical skills for employees throughout New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training programmes focused on safety and operational skills.
• Support nationwide operations by ensuring consistent learning experiences across all sites.
• Collaborate with site managers to identify training needs and tailor solutions.
• Foster a strong safety culture through continuous improvement of learning content.
• Contribute to strategic L&D initiatives that align with the company’s purpose‑driven mission.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning and development or training design.
• Ability to work on‑site in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and operational processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
