Lead Diversional Therapist

About the role

As the Lead Diversional Therapist you will bring energy, creativity, and heart into the daily lives of our residents. You will be responsible for designing and delivering therapeutic activities that enhance wellbeing and promote social interaction within our aged and disability support community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and facilitate a variety of diversional therapy programmes tailored to resident needs.
• Lead a team of therapists and support staff to ensure high‑quality delivery of activities.
• Collaborate with nursing and care teams to integrate therapeutic activities into overall care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes, adjusting approaches as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and outcomes.

Required profile

• Passion for working with older adults and people with disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
