About the role
We are looking for an energetic Kitchen Hand to join the team at Foxglove Bar & Kitchen, a popular waterfront venue in Wellington. You will play a key part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, supporting chefs and ensuring a clean, organised work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas throughout service.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Organise and stock kitchen supplies to ensure smooth operation.
- Support the team in delivering timely service during busy periods.
Required profile
- Reliable and hardworking with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Interest in starting a career in hospitality.
Required skills
- Dishwashing.
- Basic food preparation.
