About the role

Join the team behind one of Queenstown's most iconic dining experiences at Walter Peak – Colonel's Homestead. As a Kitchen Hand you will play a vital behind‑the‑scenes role, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and safely for both staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and keep all kitchen and galley areas spotless and organised.
• Assist with stock handling, receiving and storing supplies.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with general tasks as needed.
• Help uphold safety protocols for customers and staff.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and great attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
• Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
