Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at the best aged‑care facility in New Zealand, located in Remuera, Auckland. This is a full‑time, on‑site position offering an hourly rate of $24‑$26.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen team in preparing and portioning meals for residents.
• Support the serving of meals, ensuring timely delivery to each resident.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and food‑service areas.
• Help with stock rotation, basic food‑handling tasks, and the proper storage of ingredients.
• Follow food‑safety regulations and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
